"Outstanding hidden gem!!"

The Hideaway was a home from home - it had everything you need and more!! There were games for the kids, wifi and lots of choice for the TV - which they particularly liked. We had a very comfortable stay in a beautiful home. The hospitality was fantastic, as was communication from Jim & Kate throughout; they went the extra mile for us to make our celebration weekend a one to remember!! Perfect location - lots of shops, cafes, pubs on the doorstep and a great children's park over the road and behind the green. The neighbours are friendly too and made us feel welcome within a small cul-de-sac.

"A perfect stay for York."

The Hideaway was the perfect holiday home for my family while visiting York. Everything was brand new and absolutely immaculate. We loved the contemporary style of the house and the location (about 15 minutes walk to town). We had such a lovely holiday while visiting Flamingo Land, the sights in York and also family nearby. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone and will be back! The extra treats left for the adults and kids were a special bonus after travelling down Aberdeenshire! Thanks Jim and Kate!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!
