Location and view which were important to us. Lots to do if you want to. Beautifully maintained grounds. Clam, relaxed atmosphere.

The cleaning of the outside area of the lodge. The hot tub was too hot for June. The view from lots of the Valley lodges was obscured partially or totally by trees and hedgerows. (Luckily ours wasn't)

The lodge and all the site area is beautiful. Nice and comfortable design of the lodge. Hot tub in each lodge was great fun. We were 3 families in 3 lodges and everyone enjoyed our stay in the site and around.

"A great place to relax away from home"

Comfortable, modern, fully kitted out kitchen in accommodation. I couldn't have asked for more. Lots to do on site. Lovely, helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings.

Immaculately clean

I know we were in a heatwave but it was UNBEARABLE upstairs. And they had no fans to give us. Maybe air con would be a good idea

"Great lodges but general facilities are not great"

The lodge we stayed in was pretty new and comfortable

The pool and gym facilities are pretty tired and not well taken care of. The changing room made me feel like I might get a fungal infection just from being in there. There are not a lot of things to do for small kids under 4. The croquet box was disgracefully messy and there was no help from staff when we pointed it out. In our lodge kitchen one of the pots in the cupboard had not been washed from previous guests and was completely mouldy. While the rest of our group did archery I painted with my 3 year old niece in the activity centre. The painting facilities didn’t have much paper or paints available and everything was full of paint with no clean water and there was no staff there to help.
