The Mole Resort - Lodges

The lodge was lovely, had everything we needed. Clean, tidy, amazing hot tub. Lovely quiet location. Perfect!

The resort is down lots of very narrow lanes, wasn’t a problem for us but something to be aware of.

Proximity to neighbours! All was well until our neighbours began a very loud domestic mid-morning which rekindled in the evening and continued till very late! - more than adequately fuelled by alcohol! Unfortunately we’d had no information on how to contact any site management during our check in

Beautiful little lodges in the middle of nowhere which is great to disconnect.

The woman on reception smelt strongly of cigarettes.

The views were lovely, there was plenty to do, jacuzzi was good to have.

The crows made a racket and hit the lounge window at 5am everyday, this was repeated several times during the day, making the outside very messy with droppings all on the outside table,down the windows and on the floor, blood stain windows where they dived Into them, we were there a week. Did ask reception if they could clean the outside, put on the computer for maintenance but nobody ever came, should come once a day for the jacuzzi, but never saw any one, even with a bathroom door that wouldn't close reported it nobody came. Customer service and communication are not good, when we left all I got was a sorry nobody came. Decking, table and chairs need a good wash down going very green. On suite shower tiles need a good scrub where the grout is, quite black if light shines on them.

Lovely relaxing place. Comfortable beds. Well kitted out kitchen with American fridge/freezer. Hot tub was brilliant. Lots of activities to book the children onto. Games room and park were fun to explore.

Some cars drove around too quickly. It would be nice if there was cake in the coffeshop/farm shop.

Beautiful tranquil location if you’re looking to relax. Away from main areas where there’s shops half hour away but such a relaxed holiday and the log cabin was clean and very modern. Food and drink expensive on site. Loads of activities to do. Hot tub could be more private but all in all it was a well worth visit. So much so we want to book again.
