The Mole Resort - Lodges

This was our second time to The Mole Resort - we love it there. The lodges are modern, clean and have a homely feel to them. The lodges are also set in beautiful surroundings. The staff are always very welcoming and extremely helpful. We will be back again!

It would have been better if they could have kept people with dogs not on adjoining property as the barking could get on your nerves

Gorgeous modern lodge, very cosy and comfortable. Fabulous location & grounds-all well kept. 8/10 because of poor housekeeping.

Housekeeping needs serious improvement, floors were not cleaned appropriately ie dog poo bags under the beds, some dirt still on floors, no dusting had been done, all kitchen plates, cups and glasses were dirty and greasy. We had to put everything through the dishwasher supplied but we had no kitchen utilities ie washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets until the following day despite contacting the main hub first thing. Some attention to detail re outside of lodges and terrace, sweeping up and making it look more appealing & presentable to customers staying.

The property was clean, well maintained and tastefully appointed. It was spacious and had everything we needed.

I was slightly disappointed that the pool was closed whilst we were there, as it meant that we missed out on this, however, I understand maintenance has to be done.

Lodges are lovely, lovely location and love the hot tub. Very comfortable and spacious set in lovely grounds.

Stayed here a few times over a number of years but more recently it's gone down hill, recently back from a stay and of 2 nights and had no shower in both bathrooms until the second evening after being reported a number of times along with the tv not working properly. The first night maintenance came and couldn't sort either, even though the shower just needed a washer and tightening up, after finally getting both sorted there was no apology of any kind. You left us with no shower facility for most of our stay without a simple sorry. Kitchen has only 4 of knives, forces ect although we only had 3 of some, no baking trays. The menu on there app and website are wrong, also £20 for a small very average pizza.. Shop is very limited stock and what is their is very pricey. Wasn't even asked at checkout was everything OK. Very disappointing as it's been great in the past and this was supposed to be a treat for my wife's birthday, don't think we will be returning which is a shame because it was one of our favourites.
