I have received an email on the day we booked the property that we have to pay 300£ deposit that we still continued paying, despite finding ourselves infront of the property ready to check in with another group staying over there. This was because we weren’t aware of the last minute Email we received regarding the 300£ deposit. They, then gave us another property to stay in which we then paid 300£ deposit for. It has been over a month now, and we have not received our money back. We had to chase them back and ask for the money which then got us promised to he transferred the next day. But they just kept lying to us.

It is a con. The advert is not like the place. Have complained to host and booking.com but both useless. Avoid this property and if possible avoid using booking.com

The worst property I ever stayed. Nothing works properly, no handles on the doors. The entrance is at the back at the property in very bad condition. The cleaning wasn’t up to a standard especially bathroom. There was still toothpaste on the tiles from previous guests.

Just wanted to warn everyone that the host took my £300 deposit for the property and never give it back. Still dealing with the issue after 2 months still haven’t received my money back and had to report it to booking.com to solve the issue. Scammers!

Beds were comfy…

Communication has been appalling, they answered the calls for the £300 deposit, and then we have had no communication since having chased for a week to get the money back. Property has no parking, is in a busy street above a barbers. Access to the property was via a passageway to rear which looked like druggy corner, disgusting…! We were 2 families with 4 children and a as inappropriate. Looks like doors have been forced open in the past with wooden frames split. Bedroom doors had no handles so privacy was limited. General condition of property was poor, carpet strip into living wasn’t secure and raise so could catch feet on, had to cover with something. Paint work throughout was poor. Bathroom, towel rail broken, no mirror. 1 bedroom on second floor had no window, pretty sure this is illegal…! All TV’s weren’t tuned and we only could use YouTube… Very disappointed, this property shouldn’t be listed…

The only good thing I can say about this place is that the bedrooms were newly refurbished and the beds were comfortable.

Honestly, this has been one of the worst places we have ever stayed at. We booked it for a wedding in the area. Firstly, the communication is atrocious, especially to get your deposit back, which is £300. I've had to go back and forth with the property for 3 weeks and only got my deposit back through booking.com customers service team. They are so quick to answer your calls to take the deposit, but to get it back was a nightmare, and they still have not replied to any of my messages or emails to this day. Now on to the actual property. There is no private parking as stated in the listing, and we had to park on the road, which was very difficult as it is a little street that is very busy. The property is a flat above a shop, and we felt like going through a spider infested dark corridor to get to the upstairs front door. There are no photos of the bathroom on the listing, and I think it's because it is poorly kept. The bathroom shower stopped working, and when I messaged, they said to check the fuse, and they would send someone in the afternoon, but no one came at all. There are no mirrors (only a small one in the living room, which is so hard to get ready for a wedding without), wardrobes or a hairdryers anywhere in the property as stated in the listing. The second toilet that is mentioned on the listing is a shared toilet in the long spider corridor that is used by the barbers downstairs. There are tvs in all the rooms, but none of them work even if you put your own login details for disney and netflix. But honestly, never again will my family and I stay there.
