Casa Maat At JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa

Oh where to start? Casa Maat is a paradise amidst paradises. The location was gorgeous and expansive with the access to the other JW properties included. The Spa and pickleball courts were especially fantastic as was the selection of pools. Casa Maat went above and beyond all of that by simultaneously offering privacy and a more luxurious experience alongside the regular guests. The butler service was beyond exceptional and they really made it their mission to make sure we had all we needed. The staff even scoured the property for some lost items and helped us to pack them as we were waiting for our exit transportation. Truly amazing people at an amazing property. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Cabo.

Staying at Casa Maat was AMAZING. Amazing staff, food was delicious, and the amenities are un-matched. From breakfast and dinner being included, to Spa access, it was the perfect place for our group. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Maat. The resort and in particular the service absolutely exceeded our expectations. Some of the best service we’ve ever received at a resort and we’ve stayed at several other higher end properties including Four Seasons Bora Bora. The team at Casa Maat was so welcoming and ensured every part of our vacation was perfectly executed. We were on the fence whether to just stay at the standard JW but we were glad we made the jump to Casa Maat instead. It’s a much more secluded area but you still have access to all the main resort amenities as well. The beach was very picturesque even though the surf was very intense. Great for walks on the beach then just a few steps back up to the pool. What really set our experience apart was the butler service team, lead by Jesus. They were so responsive to any questions or requests we had and even tracked down some additional spray sunscreen for us on our final day as we ran out a bit earlier than expected. We will be back again for sure! Fantastic experience!

This is our 4th trip to Casa Maat and we will hope to return again and again. The property is a boutique "hotel within a hotel"- just over 40 rooms in a separate building on the ground of the JW Marriott Los Cabos. It was about a $22 uber to and from the airport- and the uber is permitted onto the property, unlike some other hotels. It is also a quick and easy $10 or less uber into San Jose or Flora Farms! (Don't miss Art Walk on Thursday nights. Casa Maat can use all of the hotels amenities, but the JW does not have access to the Casa Maat pool or the lounge. The hotel is "semi inclusive"- Full cooked to order breakfast, beer wine, sparkling wine and non-alcoholic beverages all day. Ceviche at 12:30 and Guacamole at 1:30. Little Sandwiches at lunch and then a full bar 6-8 and one single dinner offering (multiple course). The standout is the staff- from Monserrat, Zitalia (spelling) and Ahrani (spelling) at breakfast knowing our preferred food and beverages after the first morning (yay for Pineapple Mimosas and extra syrup) to Luis setting up our pool chairs daily to Ivan Oscar, Joan, Antonio at dinner service was truly delightful. Shout out to Aurora in the Gym as well. I will say the ONLY negative on this hotel was the gym. Four Years later and they have not figured out the air conditioning situation. The gym is a great size with great options for equipment- but the heat lends itself to shirtless people sweating everywhere and feeling oppressively hot - we have mentioned this on each of our visits- nothing has changed. I am Marriott Lifetime Titanium (if it matters) and we were recognized and offered a nice room upgrade where we fell asleep listening to the booming waves. That was unexpected, but much appreciated! (The hotel was not full, which is likely why this was offered- but many hotels do not, so we were pleasantly surprised!) and also offered the choice of a 1,000 points or a welcome amenity which was some wine and cheese (there were several choices) which was presented very nicely and a nice treat after a tough day at the pool :). We also enjoyed a Margarita Making class with Pedro while we were there- very informative and yummy! Housekeeping was on point throughout the stay, and the property was very clean and well attended to. Thank you to the staff at Casa Maat and to anyone we forgot.

Casa Maat was certainly worth the upgrade for us. The excellent service all the way from the butler team to the restaurant and pool teams under Pedro were top notch. The breakfast was perfect, lunch and dinner were just okay but wouldn’t have expected anything more for the price we paid. Hardly went to the main JW property.

Amazing service and experience! We felt spoiled the entire time. It was very luxurious and relaxing. It felt like a private resort.

Casa Maat was relaxing and enjoyable in every way! I stayed in an ocean view 4th floor room. The days and nights were very quiet and super comfortable. No problems with AC as seen in other reviews here. The butler group referred us to a fishing boat out of Puerto Cabos just 5 min away. My brother and I managed to land a small marlin and four roosterfish! The food throughout the day was fine. We did eat out at Agave for dinner in San Jose and Acre for brunch in Las Animas. Shout out to Zitlali and Omar for exceptional service.
