Casa Maat At JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa

Everything was exceptional during our stay at Casa Maat at JW Marriot. What made our stay so special was the service. Adrian and Antonio were amazing - the best service I have had at a resort. Thank you!

We recently came back from celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at Casa Maat. We have stayed at this property prior and had a wonderful experience the first time so decided on choosing Casa Maat again for our anniversary trip. This trip was a 10/10! It is Cabo’s best kept secret (you’re welcome). The staff, the accommodations, the food, and the grounds are all perfection. We have a very busy day to day life and Casa Maat is the perfect place to disconnect and relax and take in the ocean in the most peaceful and relaxing setting. It is attached to the JW however Casa Maat is exclusive to only guests staying there more (more higher end boutique property). Casa Maat guests can freely use the JW amenities and restaurants if needed. Staff: Every single detail is handled with a dedicated butler team and service around the clock. Any need, request is met immediately and with the friendliest and most caring staff. This is not our first rodeo. We have stayed at resorts all around the world and have never encountered a service so unique, precise, and highly skilled. Not only is the staff there for needs but they also check in to see if they can do more. Gustavo- the most helpful, honest, knowledgeable, and professional manager we have ever met. For example, my husband is an ambassador elite with Marriott. Upon arrival they had already upgraded our ocean view room to an ocean view corner suite without us even inquiring (larger suite and wrap around balcony) We had noticed that our new upgraded suite was warm and not cooling properly (which didn’t worry us at all since we had booked an oceanfront cabana anyway) When it was determined that the engineers weren’t able to rectify the cooling issue quickly, Gustavo personally met us over at the pool to share his apologies and offer us a better option for accommodations. He offered to pack our things and move us to the presidential suite. We sincerely thanked him, and seamlessly moved our things over to our new suite which was absolute perfection! Jesus- the most attentive butler we have ever had. Truly top notch! Abraham- equally as attentive and knowledgeable Antonio- fantastic dinner service from beginning to end and helped above and beyond with a food allergy Maria-upon check in/out was fabulous with covering all the details and making sure our trip met every expectation. Our next trip is already booked here and Casa Maat has quickly become our new family favorite! Cabo is beautiful with many fantastic properties but if you want an exceptional experience stay here!

The property is gorgeous. If you are looking for a peaceful property away from the craziness of Cabo San Lucas this is it. Quiet and beautiful but also only 15 minute Uber into town. All the rooms have a view of the Sea of Cortez and you can fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. The service was excellent, especially butlers Jesus, Ricardo and Abraham. And I loved our breakfast waitress Anihil (sorry if I misspelled it). I had a wonderful massage from Jorge. And the spa also has lovely saunas, pools and a cold plunge. Everything was IMMACULATELY clean and tidy. I can’t say enough about our time here and I absolutely recommend it to anyone! Thank you to all the staff for being so warm, friendly and helpful!

Our family of four, traveling with children, had an unforgettable stay at this JW Marriott property. The hotel offered a semi all-inclusive service, with breakfast and dinner beautifully prepared and served, and lighter options such as chips and sandwiches available at lunch. The food was delicious, and every meal felt thoughtful and well-prepared. The atmosphere was very private, allowing us to truly relax and unwind. The butler service was exceptional—polite, attentive, and always ready to assist—which made our stay even more comfortable. All of the staff were genuinely friendly, and the housekeeping was flawless, keeping everything spotless and welcoming. Every detail of our experience was satisfying, and we are grateful for the wonderful memories we created here. We would highly recommend this property for families looking for both comfort and elegance.

The trip was fab. Jesus (our butler) was extremely attentive, surprising us with food and drinks to celebrate our anniversary, making reservations, and overall assisting us- couldn’t ask for better. The hotel and food were great as well. Would def recommend and will go back.

AMAZING staff! It was nice to go on vacation and it really feel like vacation. Theres no place that you would walk and weren’t greeted with a smile or brief conversation. The onsite food and amenities are amazing. Would recommend Casa Maat at the JW Marriott to anyone wanting real relaxation.

We stayed at Casa Maat for our honeymoon, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—every detail was handled with such care and thoughtfulness. Our butler service was top-notch, anticipating our needs before we even asked, and creating an experience that felt both luxurious and comfortably like home. The spa was absolutely incredible—so serene and rejuvenating, it added another layer of relaxation to our stay and made the whole experience even more special. The team went above and beyond to make our honeymoon perfect, adding thoughtful touches that made us feel celebrated and cared for. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Casa Maat is more than a destination—it’s an experience we’ll treasure forever.

We've been to Casa Maat several times and we will continue to come back! We love everything about the Casa Maat experience, from the way your personal butler takes care of you, to the staff who makes the most excellent breakfast, to the way they set you up with your chairs by the ocean view pool complete with a bucket of waters and even brings you drinks to the side of the pool so you don't have to go out. I could go on and on, but I'll highlight 2 very important things I learned this trip. The first thing I learned is that booking at Casa Maat allows you to use their spa facilities daily. This was a huge plus for us and something we did every full day we had. There is nothing like reading a book by their gorgeous spa pool and doing the hot sauna to cold plunge! I will also mention that we did book spa services for a 60 minute couples' massage and this was probably in my top 5 massages ever. Shout out to the best spa attendant Jennifer who was so wonderful each and every time I was at the spa (as was everyone I interacted with). The second thing I learned was how ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY WONDERFUL Kid's Club is. Our little guy went almost every day (his choice) and had the best time with Paula, Karla, Sofia and Gina. They would always text me via What's App if he was ready to go the pool and they didn't mind him coming in and out based on what he felt like that day. Kid's Club is $35 for a half day (up to 4 hours) and $45 for the full day which includes lunch. The lunch had many options and for only $10 more was a steal as it included his whole lunch (example: mini burger with french fries) plus a drink (big fresh squeezed orange juice). I should also mention that he made tons of crafts, like he tie-dyed a hat, made a beach bag with his name on it, a really cool pinata and so much more. We love Casa Maat and we will definitely be back!
