Convenient and comfy

Host allowed us access at 1pm as we where very early. Very nice.

No hairdryer - but not the end of the world.

the staff was responsive and the house was well maintained.

The place seemed clean and it was easy to access.

1. The boiler was located inside of one of the bedrooms inside a closet. We didn't feel safe sleeping in the room with the boiler so we had to sleep all of us in a single room. There were few fire detectors but it was not clear if they also detected the presence of carbon monoxide so we were a bit stressed during the night. We considered moving to a different hotel but it was late to move with the family by the time we got there. 2. The way to the place did not feel very safe. We went through a few isolated and narrow streets to get there.

The location for where we were going was great. Only 7 minutes to the sports venue we were using and only 35 minutes from Alton Towers were we also visited.

Parking on the street was tight to say the least and the neighbours were very loud. Not the most salubrious of areas but considering we arrived at 10pm at night and were out all day the following day we didn't have to contend with neighbouring noise too much. Was loud at night though, our son had difficulty falling asleep.
