"Great place to stay"

Lovely accomodation, it was like sleeping in an antique shop. Lorna is an adherent of the more is more school of home furnishings. The setting is right on the quayside. The room was clean and warm, with a hand basin. The bathroom was along the hallway. Great shower and an astonishing array of shower products. Breakfast was whatever you wanted.

Very homely place to stay. And interesting decor. Lorna was very friendly and welcoming and was very generous with what she had to offer us apart from breakfast. An easy going atmosphere and we felt relaxed there. Great position by sea front yet close to town.

"An old cottage by the harbour with a true Scottish twist, homely and no hiers or grace, transports you back to a time of"

Quirky - the only word this B&B can be described - having or characterized by peculiar or unexpected traits or aspects. "her sense of humour was decidedly quirky" This was the true meaning of an old fashioned B&B - we were treated so lovely and not just another name on a spreadsheet.

I guess the only downside was a shared bathroom but this is described in the booking details so it isn’t a moan, just an observation. Never caused any issues at all.

Lorna was very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Good position, amenities very close by, lovely view of the harbour. Great stopping point whilst exploring the NC500, thank you.

The room was a little bit small with our 2 big cases in tow!!
