Song of the Sea, Selkie House

The host is very welcoming and friendly. She went out of her way to accommodate us. We had a lovely chat with her over breakfast. There's no private bathroom, but at least there's a sink in your bedroom. The interior is all very authentic.

We missed the fact that there was no private bathroom, so that was a bit of a surprise upon arrival. We would have preferred that, but as there were no other guests, we had to just share it with ourselves. It's at the end of the hallway, so at night it becomes a bit of a hassle. The interior was not to my taste, for me it could use a bit of an update.

Friendly welcome into owners home room in front of property , unique stay in harbour side home , lovely view from window , was allowed to use kitchen facilities, good communication before arrival comfy room felt nothing too much trouble offered extra heater or blankets if needed

Don’t really like sharing bathroom but knew and accepted this when I booked , as location perfect for us on this occasion

The property is listed as only 54 sq ft! It is more than twice that size. Lorna was very hospitable. She made our breakfast early, as requested, at 6:45am, so that we could catch the morning train.

Great location in a quiet fishing village, right on the harbour. We walked a short distance into the village and enjoyed a locally sourced seafood dinner.

Great location. Host was very friendly. There was food available for us on arrival.
