The Panda - Modern 2 Bedroom Apt in Manchester City Centre

The flat itself was simply furnished but nicely appointed. There was the amount of crockery necessary for 4 persons, plus saucepans and kitchen implements. All usual main appliances including dishwasher and nice large fridge and freezer. Bedrooms have wardrobes and bedside tables. It was very centrally located for the City Centre, all within 15-20 minutes walk. The nearest train Station is the York Road one, Piccadilly is about 20 minute walk. We got a taxi. We did not have a car but there is a below level car park for one car with lifts which is very useful in a City Centre. Wi Fi worked well. Plenty of good eateries nearby. My friend left her glasses behind and the Owners were very helpful, reacted immediately and posted them back very promptly.

Main issue was having to collect a key from a local Supermarket some five or so minutes away. Alright on a sunny day but not in freezing winter with luggage. Then, once at the Apartment block there is a flight of stairs and across a courtyard to get to the lifts. For those who are older and less mobile, all this is quite debilitating and somewhat confusing. It is a shame a key could not be left with the Concierge in Reception. If there are four adults, (there are 2 double beds), there is a small sofa and one armchair so not comfortable seating sufficient for all four. The railway line is right outside the block. Although there is triple glazing, some light sleepers may hear the quiet clicketty click of very slow trains trundling through. However noise is always an issue in a City Centre. We had problems getting the TV to work. Took about an hour, no instructions. Finally, just about to call the owners and by agitating the batteries in the control it worked. Beds were quite firm.

The location, the security, the decor and the balcony. The staff had excellent communication also which is a great help!

The sofa unfortunately it wasn’t very comfortable to relax on.

Excellent, clean spacious enough for 2. Close to the exhibition centre. Secure parking and excellent swift responses from the rental team.

We had no issues at all so I would have to make up an issue. Excellent in every respect.

Easy access to everything

Bit noisy with the train-but it was right next to Oxford Road station. Sofas could do with a bit of a clean, as all stained where other guests have spilled drinks on them and not bothered to clean up after themselves ☹️

Keys were at the local Spa, which was not a problem,but unfortunately the details were sent the day we travelled to my work email so was unaware of how to access property, was a good 45 minutes until we managed to get in.

Train line right next to Apartment, fine if you have the windows closed.

Location was very good. The room is clean. The bathroom is very nice, and the towels were clean. It was easy to get the keys upon arrival. The beds were comfy, and the Wi-Fi was superb. The parking space was large enough and very easy to find.

The room is located near a railway so when on the balcony and the train comes along there's a little bit of noise, but it isn't too loud or annoying.
