Lovely 1-bedroom condo in Aarhus C

There are nice things about this accomondation. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge, and nice stovetops. The living room has a comfortable couch, and a dining table. The shower is a bit dark, but works well.

Although we had a lovely time in Aarhus, we did have some complaints about the apartment. The apartment, although very clean, isn't in a very good condition. One of the windows is broken, and fixed with a wooden bord. One of the drawers in the kitchen is broken, and the lack of blackout curtains make it hard to get a good night rest. Next to the windows in the bedroom are two streetlights, and because sunrise is pretty early in Denmark we would wake up around 7 every day. A lot of people in the reviews complain about the noise that comes from the jazzbar downstairs. We stayed over the weekend, and we didn't hear any loud noises from the bar. Maybe we were lucky because there weren't any live performances, but we didn't find this an issue. We did had to wear earplugs though, but that was because the apartment is located next to a very busy street. Overall, I think the apartment has great potential, but there are some aspects which makes the stay a lot more uncomfortable. If the owner would fix the broken windows and hung up some proper curtains, it would be a lot nicer. The only downside would then be the loud traffic noises.

The apartment is located near the city center and harbor. It is easily walkable to a tram stop.

The tram squeals all hours of the day and it is jarringly loud. There is a bar downstairs and the noise from the patrons coming and going was also quite loud until really late hours. There are also no black out curtains and so there is constant light (in the summer). It is not the best set up for families with young children.

Close to the centre, coffee´s bistros and bakeries. Also very close to the ledbane station and coastline. The ovners are helpful and communications is very easy.

Bit noisy as the flat is just up to the jazz club.
