The host puts this property on several platforms, I had a confirmed booking but later he sends a message asking me to cancel the booking as he has another one for another platform and I can’t stay at the property. I wouldn’t recommend this place, we were very lucky to find another property to meet our needs.

The location wasn't too bad

The owners was still cleaning the property when we arrived, even though we were running late. Floor left very wet with no means to dry it. Unable to use the shower as in a state of poor repair and told by the owner that we could use it but if it leaked just put a bowl in the kitchen to catch the drips. One of the beds were broken - slats not fitted properly. Half eaten food left in the cupboards and the freezer was full. Sockets not all usable

Location and that’s it.

The house from the outside looks ok. Nice name also. But that is where it stops. The front door is dodgy as the handles are loose. The place is filthy. The bathroom needs ripping out and renewing. The shower leaks into the kitchen through the electric lights. The laminate flooring hasn’t got beading round it and looks like a child has laid it. I could go on (see pictures) but I won’t. Booking.com really needs to take this off their books as it’s a fire waiting to happen. Beds were held together with zip ties nuff said.

Perfect location not only for what Tynemouth has to offer, which is a great deal and all within walking distance, but also for Metro into Newcastle or car trip up Northumberland coast.

Host was asleep on the settee with a quilt on our arrival.

Host asleep on the sofa when we arrived then day after without notifying us went into the property to let a plumber in to fix the radiator. Had we not finished work we wouldn't of known & we don't know how long he had been inside. The plumber was a no show.

Great location. Nice size and good parking facilities to walk into Tynemouth

There were some damages to the bathroom mirror, shower as well as a couple of other bits but that’s just superficial things .

Great location, free parking in a permit area, spacious rooms, quiet and secure. Nicely decorated with comfortable beds and good window coverings. Well equipped kitchen.

The kitchen and front living room smelt of dogs, although the property was very clean. The shower was leaking a little and the host had warned us about this but it did leak into the kitchen.
