The Brookside Motel Keystone Near Mt Rushmore

The rooms were adequate once inside. I enjoyed the stay INSIDE the room. Breakfast! Thank you. Very kind staff.

I did not feel particularly safe as a single traveler. The property was generally run-down, and I would have felt better with better maintenance in general. That said, it was a good night.

Room was OK. The room and bathroom are ok - more like a motel. Overall stay was comfortable.

The room had trash behind the night stand and several hairs in the bath tub. My sister was worried about waking up the wooden stairs and along the deck to get to our room, it's not on good shape. It's not as nice as the pictures show. The parking is terrible, not a parking lot, just a small area with gravel. I paid way to much for the room I got. I won't be going back.

The hotel stuff was super kind.

The photos do not look anything like the motel. Was nothing like I was expecting. Had a few spiders in our room. Bed was falling In a bit. No pool or fire pit like shown
