Weavers Cottage, Tideswell, sleeps 6, dog friendly

Very clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything you would need. Warm and cosy and the downstairs shower was very powerfull. Nice village with a couple of pubs in easy walking distance.

Smoke alarm very sensitive, very difficult cooking bacon for breakfast! An extractor fan would have helped. Parking is tricky, narrow road and only space for 1 car outside the property. The free car park at the bottom of the lane was full when we arrived (6pm on a Friday), only just managed to find a parking space on the main road past the car park. Mattress on the bed was very firm so didn't sleep that well.

Everything! Lovely surprise to be welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco.

Location was great and the cottage itself warm, comfortable, nicely decorated and looked after.

Cosy and warm, fitted out to a high modern standard, but retains that country-feel. All cooking and washing facilities very clean and efficient. Furnished to a high standard. Local town and countryside very peaceful and relaxing.

En-suite bathroom layout a bit quirky between 2 bedrooms, but works fine. Steep pathway up to patio area.

The cottage was perfect for our needs. Equipped with everything you might need and beautifully located. The bed was really comfy.

Both children had a few bumps from getting in and out of their beds as they were too close together. There was very little space between the beds.

Beautifully kept, clean cottage. Lovely and quiet at night. The beds were comfortable. The cottage has a lot of character and the village has everything you need.
