Excellent location in a lovely village with 3 pubs, a good restaurant and a CO-OP store. Ideal base for walking, we enjoyed a lovely circular walk from the front door of about 7 miles via Litton Mill. The cottage is very well equipped, clean and comfortable and the owner was very helpful and easy to contact.

Steep stairs outside the back door would be difficult for small children and those with mobility issues, but not a problem for us.

Good location. Well set up for a small group. Clean and tidy. Plenty of character.

Watch your head if you’re taller than about 5’8’’ Perfect for our group of 4 but sleeps up to six which might be cosy! Jack and Jill bathroom arrangement off 2 bedrooms so make a plan or you might accidentally get to know your friends better than you planned 😳

Very comfortable and relaxing. Great location, short walk into village centre. Plenty of pubs, shops and an Italian restaurant.

Superb accommodation, wonderful location, easy to get to and several great pubs in the village. The Star Inn in was exceptional, both in terms of the food and staff. Highly recommended, will definitely book again.

We love Tideswell and this cottage meant that we didn't need to use the car at all. Easy access to everything we needed by foot. The cottage itself was lovely. Perfect for us and our needs.
