"Superb"

Everything was fine. Beautiful house with all I needed in the kitchen for cooking the meals. Comfortable beds and a nice shower.

The stairs as I have limited mobility. But I already know from the photos.

"Dreadfully managed property, with lots of lies in the previous review responses."

The property is centrally located, just a short taxi to the city centre. However, there is no mention in the description of the railway lines running right next to the property.

On arrival it was immediately underwhelming: lots of old mail in the hall, felt dark and grubby. On entering the ground floor bedroom we noticed that the ceiling light had no bulb and there were no curtains, just a blind that you see in/out of around the side - and this was ground floor directly overlooking the pavement, so anyone walking past could look in! My daughter’s bedroom smelled of sick and bathroom had no lock and the ceiling had mould on it. Upstairs the apartment is initially impressive. The heating wasn’t on, the Wi-Fi didn’t work and there were no instructions. We phoned the helpline and they gave us the Wi-Fi password which was wrong, we eventually worked it out by looking under the router. The furniture was stained and grubby and there were insufficient glasses for 3, let alone the 6 it’s advertised for. Don’t believe any feedback the owners leave as they said they’d done a deep clean and replaced the 3 plastic goblets for a previous review months ago, but this is still hasn’t been done. I could write more! The nail in the coffin was to return on day 2 to find the power out. The helpline couldn’t help, but did send an engineer within 30 minutes, which was impressive. After lots of head scratching and phone calls, he couldn’t fix it either. They said we should continue with our day and they’d send a proper electrician later in the afternoon. We weren’t prepared to allow a stranger in there unsupervised with all our belongings, so we asked for a move to an hotel or a refund. After several calls we eventually got a refund, minus a clean charge (sic) and left Cardiff a day early - what a waste.

"Perfect for the purpose we needed."

We wanted a property near to the house of sport, so location was perfect. The property has a large communal living area upstairs which was good for us and bedrooms and bathroom downstairs .

Generally no dislikes . Only need more glasses, mugs and plates. The tumble dryer wasn’t working properly . Need a long length mirror in the large bedroom. Apart from these minor things out stay was excellent.

very spacious! very clean! Excellent location! Overall perfect for our stay!

"Average, needs some sprucing up."

Upstairs of the property is bright and spacious. Bedrooms are large. Parking available right outside the property. Towels provided aswell as toiletries.

The property itself was fine, however it really needs some TLC. There are lots of patches in the carpet, broken blinds, marks on the walls, stains on blinds and scratched toilet.

"The property on the whole was good, but needs some tlc."

The main sitting area/kitchen was spacious and bright. There was washing/ironing facilities, an oven and cutlery, dishes, pans etc. Towels were provided, as well as soaps and shower gel/ shampoo. There were multiple restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance and you can park right outside the property with free on-street parking.

There was a lot of damage inside the property when we arrived, (broken blinds, holes in the wall, scratches down many walls, broken window, gum and stains on carpets, stains on blinds, scratch marks inside the toilet) which is always concerning when you are paying a deposit. The wifi name provided did not exist, so therefore the password was also wrong. The lockbox for the keys did not immediately open with the code provided and took a lot of fiddling before it did so. Also, the property was right next to a main railway line, which I feel should have been mentioned in the property description on the booking sight, as part of a full disclaimer.
