Emplacement pas loin du centre d’Edimbourg. Apparemment grand.

Le manque de vaisselle : 5 tasses pour 6 personnes, 2 couteaux, 3 petites cuillères. Le ménage pas vraiment fait à notre arrivée, canapé plein de miettes, vaisselle sale dans le LV.

Thought we were booking a proper room not a one person tiny poky room. Bed too small for 2 and sunken on side where people have to sit as no chairs. One student chair at a desk , i fork, no replacement of coffee, towels ect for 3 night stay. First rom had multiple flights of stairs even though advertised as a having a list. Disabled so had to wait 1.5 hours to get changed to same room but with lift access. Beware this is single student rooms that they sell in holidays to tourists as double apartments.

Location was good for trams.

We stayed here for 5 nights in Edinburgh for the Fringe and we loved it! The accommodation was spotless and the beds were comfortable. We’re light sleepers but didn’t hear any noise from the hallway at night (however there is noise from the street but only noticeable if you leave the window open) There are towels, complimentary mini toiletries in the bathroom, coffee and tea in the kitchen which was a bonus. The water pressure in the shower was great! Breakfast buffet is available for the students but a member of staff kindly said it was ok for us to make use of it if we wanted to. There is a coffee, tea, juices, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, toast, jam, meat and cheese. If you need a hairdryer you can borrow one (free of charge) from the reception desk. It was about a 20 minute walk from the train station to the accommodation, but there are plenty of buses to take as well if you don’t want to walk. We love a good pub quiz and we’re pleased to find a few nearby (I can recommend Dr. Paul’s Quizzes) And last but not least I want to give 5 stars to all the staff members! They were very friendly and helpful at all times of the day! We’ll definitely be back next year!

The location is good, convenient with buses connection. Room size is decent since it’s a student dormitory.

I don’t think this is a proper hotel or service apartment. Overall service level is not good, we had to wait 15 mins at arrival time until the room was ready. There was no hairdryer in the apartment. The bed in our room broken, the mattress spring was making terrible noise every time I sat on it. Don’t get the room near the lift, sound proofing was bad, you can hear people flapping the door. Edinburgh in August every accommodation is so expensive, I don’t think this location deserves the money paid.

Nos gustó la ubicación, muy cerca del centro, y también el servicio de desayuno que no esperábamos. El personal ha sido encantador y todo ha ido muy bien. Volveremos seguramente.

Wider erwarten, war die Unterkunft besser als gedacht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ursprünglich ist es ja eine Studentenunterkunft, jedoch sehr funktionell eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war äußerst geräumig und auch sehr ruhig. Die Räumlichkeiten waren sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr angemessen. Würden diese Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen.

Perfecte. Gairebe nou. Molt ample. Cuina amb menjador, habitacions amb lavabo cadascuna. Esmorzar complert, per endur o per pendre’l a l’apartament.

room was bigger than expected. comfortable bed.

The first receptionist was kind of rude and dismissive. Did not apologise that the room was not ready at check in time. Rolled her eyes when I enquired about the check in time. After, a much more professional host came along and offered water to compensate for the delay. He was great, and much more polite than the dismissive lady. I would really recommend some training for the people at the reception so there is some consistency and politeness on how guests are treated. If it wasn't for the host that helped us our experience would have been awful as the lady was really rude.

Mini appartamento in studentato. Letto un po' piccolo, arredamento essenziale ma perfetto per chi ha poche pretese. Silenzioso, staff cordiale e disponibile, colazione compresa.
