Really close to the old town so that was good and also the only reason why we chose it.

Almost everything. The property is located on different street (its not the first one the map shows, its right behind it) the street where the property is doesn’t seem safe and its also very loud as they are throwing out the glass bins at night and people are making lot of noise around. Main door to your room isnt sealed as there is a space between them so you can hear everyone in the hallway (same with the walls and the windows). The floor is leaking water out of nowhere so bring some shoes with you because you will be walking in pools of water. Half of the furniture is broken and is really old or used up. No cups for making coffee or tea so bring your own. No elevator so with bigger luggages forget about it. It’s dirty and smells really bad. The rooms were smelling after mold and there was even stains on the ceiling as well as it wasn’t vacuumed properly. The bathroom is a disaster the water isnt flowing properly its constantly plugged. If you are looking for a 1-2 day stay then i guess you will manage for anything longer than that find something else. For the price its really not worth it.

Amazing location! You’re a short walk away from everything (huge bonus is there’s 2 pubs, a curry restaurant and a cafe all on the same street as the flat). The flat itself was better than I expected, very cozy and easily accessible and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming

The apartament is só bad

Near Edinburgh station. Responded soon when we were lost at night looking for the entrance. Very frightening for 3 women to walk in back alleys trying to find the entrance.

It was extremely difficult to locate the entrance. 4th floor, really smelly and badly lit. The flat was dirty, cupboards falling off. The water taps in the kitchen and bathroom only had cold water which I told them. A few lightbulbs weren’t working. The furniture was cheap and coming off the hinges. There was very little toilet paper (half a roll for 3 people for 2 nights). I told the staff. They said they would send the maintenance team and the cleaner but nobody came. We had to buy our own toilet paper - first ever to have that happen. When the living room curtains open, everyone outside could see you. The bed in the living room wasn’t made for the 3rd person, just the bedding left under the sofa. The curtains in the bedroom were makeshift and didn’t prevent the light coming through. There was damp in the bedroom above the bed and to the side. It smelled of damp throughout the apartment. It wasn’t double glazed so very noisy outside. We could hear everyone passing by. Really dreadful experience. We asked to leave cases inside for a couple of hours but they weren’t accommodating at all. Lots of rubble inside the front door which made it difficult to come in with cases.

It was close to city centre. Could walk everywhere which was good.

We weren’t allowed to check in until 3pm or after. A lot of places now allow early check in for a few- which is what we assumed. There’s no hairdryer- despite being listed, you have to write to ask for it and you can only get it if the cleaner is available. We asked and never got it. There’s NO WiFi, we didn’t even think to check in the listing as wifi is always included? And 5G doesn’t work very well. We had to leave and go to Wetherspoons to get wifi to text anyone. Check out is at 10am, and if you’re a bit late you’re charged 25% of the nightly fee. The apartment is very loud, there’s a lot of noise, it’s a bit dirty, there’s no elevator. There’s only one mirror in the whole entire apartment; we were four girls staying so getting ready was a bit of a nightmare. Would not recommend staying for more than a day. The hosts also don’t give you the exact address- we put the provided address on booking into google maps and Apple Maps and it didn’t take us to the apartment. We had to write to them to ask; and we stood in the rain for fifteen minutes waiting for a reply from them. It’s okay for one night maybe, it is cheap but I don’t think we would stay here for more than a few nights.

Les photos correspondaient à l'appartement N°7, nous avions l'appartement N°9 dans un état bien moins bon. Cuisine sale et vieille, pas de frigo, pas de couverts, pas de poeles ou casserolles pour cuisiner. Pas d'eau chaude dans la douche. Le sol de la cuisine etait gorgé d'eau suite à une fuite d'eau recente. Une fenetre cassée et simplement occultée par un rectangle de plastique et de l'adhesif. Le propriétaire contacté n'a plus répondu à mes demandes une fois qu'il avait eu la confirmation de notre entrée dans l'appartement.

Cuando llegamos estaba todo sucio, la limpiadora no había pasado por el apartamento para limpiarlo y ya podéis imaginar como estaba. El baño lleno de heces, todas las sábanas por ahí tiradas… para cuando nos mandaron a otro apartamento habíamos perdido todo el primer día de nuestro viaje y para colmo al día siguiente tuvimos que volver a la primera habitación con lo cual perdimos toda la mañana recogiendo y pasando todas las maletas a la otra habitación
