Little Gem in the Forest of Dean! Hot tub, Private garden, Dog Friendly, Smart TVs and Beautiful Historic Village Location!

What a beautiful stay and an amazing apartment. Everything you need is there and the location was beautiful. The host was so helpful and the welcome basket was amazing. The hot tub was warm on arrival too. 1st class stay.

Only a small thing but a full length mirror would be a nice touch.

Location was great there is a local shop and pub nearby and we would recommend the Sunday lunch. There was everything in the flat that you need and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The hot tub was amazing and was great to relax in and enjoy the quiet surroundings hopefully we will be back to explore all the walks in the better weather.

Excellent location adjacent to castle/pub/local shop. Comfortable living space/lovely corner sofa, very soft and luxurious upholstery. Kitchen diner very well equipped with lovely large windows. Dishwasher and washing machine. Absolutely wonderful welcome gift with effectively high quality breakfast for the duration of stay- sincere thanks, we are very grateful!! Hot tub wonderful, lovely hot temperature.

Shower low pressure/luke warm, power intermittently cut out (short duration), floor small area uneven in lounge/diner, tiny amount of dog hair spotted, directions to location as discussed, needs improvement. In main bedroom, the left side of the bed (side nearest the second bedroom) the mattress (or base, not sure which) feels sunken ++

The decor and facilities were great. We loved the location with easy driving access to Forest of Dean. The apartment had everything we needed. We were very grateful for the breakfast basket, especially after arriving later than planned. The hosts were responsive and helpful.

Just a small comment - there is no extractor fan in the kitchen so we managed to set the fire alarm off one evening whilst cooking dinner

The location was lovely and the hot tub was a nice bonus.

Loved the quiet, quaint friendly village. Flat was well stocked and had everything we needed. The welcome basket was so lovely. Also, the care shown to us by the owner during the torrential rain whilst we were there.

Unfortunately, if you are someone with back problems,the couch is very low and uncomfortable, not supportive. Made relaxing to read and watch tv difficult.

That you have to walk through one bedroom to get to living room/kitchen

Clean, nice touch with food left.

Owners never responded to questions, and accused us of being scammers lol (both over 60s) nothing to see in the area. Garden overgrown, and overlooked (hot bath I don’t think so) noisy people upstairs. Left after 2 days.
