Little Gem in the Forest of Dean! Hot tub, Private garden, Dog Friendly, Smart TVs and Beautiful Historic Village Location!

Lovely village location

The steps up to the entrance as I have mobility problems and the steps were quite steep. No mention had been made of this before we arrived.

Just back from a great stay at this apartment. It is really well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen area, while small, is packed with everything you could need for a self catering stay. The garden area is very well fenced and secure so excellent for travelling with a dog. A couple of small issues were responded to really quickly by the host who seems to take great care and pride in the place. The location is fantastic - so close to the castle, pub and village shop, plus lots of lovely walks in the area. This is definitely somewhere we would like to stay again.

The layout of the apartment is a little unconventional as you need to walk through the main bedroom to get to the living area. This was not an issue for us at all as it was just the two of us and the dog but may be a little tricky if you were there with friends.

Lovely last minute weekend away with family. Host was extremely helpful, and only a phone call away. Property was immaculate, and well presented throughout. Hamper on arrival was a lovely touch also.. Will certainly be returning and would recommend to anyone!

Enjoyed all the extra touches like the Christmas decorations and food basket.
