The track upto the property is a little tricky.
GBSuch a beautiful and creative place, our little family enjoyed our stay! Peter was so lovely and it was very nice being greeted as we arrived. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
GBThe property was cosy, and had an unusual feel due to the layout and wood burner. We were provided with everything we needed, and the facilities were more than sufficient for a long weekend stay. Hosts were easily contactable when we had queries or needed anything extra.
Nothing.
GBMy second stay at this lovely place and just as enjoyable as last time. I felt the stresses of the past couple of weeks dissolve as I turned the corner and saw all the Christmas lights and the inviting glow of my haven for the next couple of days. Cosy, clean, safe and homely as ever. Many thanks again to my hosts, Emma and Peter, and Merry Christmas! I will be back in the New Year!
GBvery cosy and homely feel to the place
GBIt’s so warm and cosy.
There wasn’t a bad thing about it at all
GBAn absolute gem of a place! it's the attention to detail, the underfloor heating and not one, but two heated towel rails in the high-end bathroom, the real log fire and supply of cosy blankets and hand-crafted rugs, the quality crockery and cutlery, the comfy bed with its 4 pillows and sqidgy cushions, the fresh milk, the real coffee, the plethora of tasty snacks,, the generous supply of condiments, seasonings, pasta and rice...The list goes on. A fantastic location too; being both close to the village and equally, the moors. The Scullery offers more than I could've wished for. its a beautiful, 3-story hideaway with spectacular, panoramic views over the Colne Valley and is just perfect. i cant praise the host Peter enough. The fire was already lit and the heating on when I arrived and to top it all, Peter fixed my friends numberplate which had come loose on the journey due to shocking weather that weekend. What a delight to arrive to such a cosy, homely, beautiful and immaculately clean place of refuge! I've already booked again for next month. Fingers crossed it is available as I intend to return on a monthly basis if I am lucky enough to secure this delightful bolthole!

GBThe property was filed with lots of cozy homely touches, It had everything we needed for a short stay and more. The surrounds were beautiful, and the patio provided a lovely view of the town. Hosts were warm and welcoming, and provided some wonderful recommendations for food and activities. The wood burner was the icing on the cake and provided a lovely atmosphere in the evenings. We’ll most definitely be returning.
