Beautiful 3 bedroom home 4 minutes from the beach

The only good thing about this property was the location to the beaches.

This place was a literal health hazard. did not even stay our whole trip and had to leave early. Drove 15 hours from Wisconsin with my mother and two children (ages 8 and 9). As soon as we walked in the door, we noticed two broken couches that contained several empty bottles of liquor. Walking through the house, it just got worse and worse. There was BLACK MOLD on both shower curtains. Stuff was just broken all over this house; one of the beds was being held up by a small plastic cube. We could not let our kids out into the yard as there was trash all over as well as dog poo, screws, and chewed up sandals. I messaged the owner to see if someone had come to clean and was told that he had come to clean and was there for 3 hours. If this is his work cleaning, it's concerning that their profile says they run a cleaning company. I let things slide as we had been on the road so long and spent the first night of vacation cleaning a place I paid money to relax in. We grabbed extra cleaner to clean the tubs. We tried to keep the shower curtains outside while showering. My mother and I slept on the broken couches after noticing stains on the beds. We ended up having to leave early after my 8-year-old came out and said he was itchy, and I found a bed bug in his bed. I again contacted the host and told him this, for him to confirm that there was no way bed bugs could have been present because there is a plastic liner on the bed, and I had informed him when I found the bed bug that this liner was unzipped. I was told that he would refund me for the last night that we did not stay, but now we cannot get in touch with him, and he will not respond to the booking agency.

Location. Right near NAS Pensacola, Perdido Key/Beach and Big Lagoon State Park.

We didn't stay. One bed had stains and hair on the bottom sheet. There was old food and left over condiments in the fridge. We had multiple exchanges, through Booking messaging, with the owner and Booking, to try to resolve this. It took days to resolve.

This was a very peaceful stay. It's close to a great beach for fun, collecting sea shells, walking (the beach wasn't crowded at all. Very private). The house was clean and had almost everything we needed. The host was a great communicator. The neighborhood was quiet enough for me even though there's a daycare across the street and it's a kind of busy road. The house is insulated well enough that you don't hear much of it.

Everything was great! If I had to find something that could've been better, I'd say the master bath needs a shower rug and more hand towels so that we don't have to waste so many paper towels (but I had brought some hand towels just in case 😉). The beds aren't very comfortable, but it was good enough for a short vacation. All in all a great place to stay. Very good value for your money.

I liked how spacious it is.

Cleanliness furniture was broken table and couch dead plants microwave was filthy oven had old pizza in it ....trash in garbage shower curtains were filthy...outside chairs broken place had not been cleaned in months beautiful home needs TLC asked for refund and was laughed at but it's ok this will have to spend more than she didn't want to refund hopefully no one will experience this piss poor unclean property prayerfully the property will spend the 350 on new shower curtains and cleaning supplies for oven ,microwave , refrigerator room door way carpet torn wear my cousin cut her foot this place be a hazard please be aware

Great location! Near many attractions. Hiking trails, Perdido Key, Pensacola Beach... The owner stayed in contact and was prompt to respond to questions, even dropping extra towels off for us. Air conditioning and fans worked great! Facilities were functional (ie. dishwasher, toilets, showers, sinks, washer and dryer...). Very nice house itself.

Cupboards were cluttered with random personal stuff. There were several empty soap/cleaning containers. It seemed to have the owner's personal sheets, which were stained and had holes. I had to wash them first because I didn't realize they were just stained. Some of the furniture was broken. The hideaway bed with broken springs did not support an adult. Two of my children cut themselves on carpet tacs between bedrooms and hallways. I would definitely declutter if I were the owners. Buy cheap matching sheets, dishes, silverware... It definitely needs to be simplified and organized with labeled bins for sheets, towels, cleaning supplies etc. The dryer vent was not hooked up, so it got rather hot in that garage doing laundry. It definitely needs some night time pest insecticide tablets. I did some screaming when turning on the lights in the garage at night to do laundry. That may just be a Florida thing. If the owners took some time to declutter and organize it would be great! It just needs a little hotel-type TLC.

Easy to get to - was in a good location for us in terms of proximity to the airport and to the gulf

There were a couple of minor problems but nothing that kept us from having a good time.
