The Willow (Alton Towers, Animals, Peak District)

It's hard to find the correct address, the navigation shows a completely different place 🙈.

Everything! It was just perfect. Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and contained everything we needed, and more. There is a beautiful garden with room to sit outside in the sun. An added bonus was the area where Russell and Janette keep some really friendly animals that you are able to pet and spend some time with. The children were able to help collect eggs from the chickens, and we were able to enjoy eating them also. The property is in a very quiet area with lovely views from the perfect living area upstairs. Russell and Janette could not have been more welcoming, we very much hope we will be able to return.

I was immaculate. Very clean, comfy beds, beautifully decorated, warm enough, a handy little basket of toiletries and necessities incase we had forgotten anything. Russell was lovely and took us to see the animals twice and helped us to hold and feed them, even let my daughter collect the eggs and we could also visit them at our leisure which we loved. We visited Thors cave, Dovedale stepping stones, did kayaking at carsington water and archery at wild park Derbyshire so there is lots to do in the area. We would definitely return.

I bought this little getaway for my brother and his family. They absolutely loved everything about it. My sister in law can not praise Russell's hospitality enough. Thank you so much, Russell. I knew they would love it. (Also, thank you for my eggs)

Couldn’t have chosen a better place! Everything is a five star standard, we’re very pleased in every way! Russell is very welcoming from the start, introducing all animals in the farm to us! Oliver had a blast and spent a lovely time with them! He even helped Russell picked all eggs and thats our next morning breakfast😄 The cottage is very nice, clean and has high standards! We especially loved the loft living room. We spent lovely family time there with loads of board games! Russell also served as a fantastic host advising us on local attractions and Alton Towers! I would highly recommend to everyone we know👍

We had a wonderful stay at the Willow. The property was lovely and the children especially loved the under floor heating and meeting the animals.
