The Willow (Alton Towers, Animals, Peak District)

We had a lovely stay, the lodge was immaculately presented, clean and spacious. It had everything we could possibly need. We all had a great sleep, and was only a 7 minute drive to Alton towers, so was so handy for our weekend away. We would definitely recommend and revisit ourselves. The hosts were lovely, and a great addition was getting to meet all there farm yard animals. My son especially loved holding all the chickens and stroking and feeding the goats. Could park straight out side the lodge, and had a lovely garden.

Property was modern, clean, well equipped and very well furnished. Especially enjoyed the under floor heating and the shower.

Amazing property with a great location and excellent for families! Highly recommend and we will be returning !

I am a frequent traveler both in UK and abroad and the stay at The Willow was one of the best experiences so far. The location id perfect for a short break with friends and also kids. The property is spotless, conformable and has an amazing decor with small touches that will be a smile on your face in every corner . The big bonus is the warm welcome from Russell that made us feel at home within a second of arriving at the property. Attention to detail is second to none , with fresh eggs from the farm's hens left for us, fresh milk , orange juice, coffee, snacks next to the TV. I would highly recommend this [property and I would love to go back and stay there again.

Idyllic location

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Russel was the host with the most. Greeted us at the start (aswell as a personalised chalk board welcome message), showed us around and introduced us to the farm animals. The animals are so friendly and we had a great time feeding and petting them. The house is immaculate with lots of lovely finishing touches. Decorated beautifully for Halloween, fresh milk, orange juice and eggs. Aswell as a big bag of crisps, popcorn and biscuits. Kitchen is well equipped to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beds are comfortable and the shower is hot and powerful. Great location for Alton Towers (6 min drive). Loved our stay. We will be back and will recommend to family and friends.

Fantastic location 5 minutes drive from Alton Towers. Accommodation was fantastic will definitely return. Surroundings stunning and hosts so welcoming.
