An Infrastructure tax was introduced by the Zanzibar government from 1st July 2015. The tax of US$5 per person per day is to be collected by the hotel accommodations from all inhouse guests on behalf of the Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB). This amount is payable directly on check-in. We accept MasterCard and Visa. Please be advised that all credit card payments will incur a surcharge of 3%. For bookings of up to 5 rooms, a different cancellation policy applies. Cancelations must be made at least 60 days before arrival to avoid a 100% cancellation fee. Additionally, prepayment is required 60 days prior to arrival. Failure to remit payment by the deadline will result in the reservation being released. When booking 6 rooms or more, a different cancellation policy applies. Staff is extremely helpful and they make you fell like royalty. It was my 56 birthday and I traveled solo for the very first time. And they did not disappoint

Friendly staff. Good housekeeping and a great atmosphere. I had my birthday on the 17th, returned from breakfast to see my bed decorated wishing me a happy birthday, it was a lovely surprise that I didn’t plan for. Can’t praise staff enough, I was ill for a 2 days, Brono noticed at dinner that I didn’t touch my food and ordered fruits to my room incase I get peckish at night. He’s always on point, making sure everyone’s needs are met when dining. All the staff are friendly even those who are not fluent in English. I can’t name them all but Gladness, Generoza, Selah, front of house security, the bar staff, waiters and waitresses, the bartender at the sky bar and the guy who stocks the fridge even thought us how to sing Jumbo… at our request. Rooms are cleaned and fridge restocked every day. Hotel organised à la cart dinner at the beach and garden when only a few guests were checked in. It’s was a great experience.

It’s an hour away from activities which makes transportation expensive.

Das Personal ist super und die Zimmer sind super. Die Anlage des Hotels ist gut, das Essen war i.O.. Der Blick aus dem Restaurant auf das Türkise Meer ist ein Traum.

Ich war in der Low Season vor Ort. Ein ruhiger Standspaziergang war leider nicht möglich, da man sobald man den Strand betritt von Einheimischen abgepasst wird, die einem alles mögliche verkaufen wollen. Leider geht die Klimaanlage und der Deckenventilator aus, wenn der Strom kurz ausfällt und man wird nachts wach aufgrund der Hitze. Ein direkt einsetzender Generator oder Zwischenspeicher wären bei der Kategorie angebracht. In Sansibar gibt es beinahe täglich kurze Stromausfälle.

I loved the food, drinks, the room was very clean, quite big and comfortable.

I didn’t like the internet because it was fluctuating a lot of the time. Though we were told they were fixing it.
