An Infrastructure tax was introduced by the Zanzibar government from 1st July 2015. The tax of US$5 per person per day is to be collected by the hotel accommodations from all inhouse guests on behalf of the Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB). This amount is payable directly on check-in. The place was beautiful and the staff very friendly! A special shout out to Generoza who even taught us some Swahili.

There’s transportation to go to the tourist attractions but most are an hour away so a bit expensive if one wants to travel frequently.

This place is amazing. Friendly staff and clean facilities. The all inclusive package is a must. Food was good and drinks were amazing. Great variety. As for the views, you cannot beat this - Its like waking up to paradise. The room was air conditioned and spacious. The bathroom was also great. Didnt have an issue with mosquitoes. Will definitely recommend and come back!
