An Infrastructure tax was introduced by the Zanzibar government from 1st July 2015. The tax of US$5 per person per day is to be collected by the hotel accommodations from all inhouse guests on behalf of the Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB). This amount is payable directly on check-in. We accept MasterCard and Visa. Please be advised that all credit card payments will incur a surcharge of 3%. For bookings of up to 5 rooms, a different cancellation policy applies. Cancelations must be made at least 60 days before arrival to avoid a 100% cancellation fee. Additionally, prepayment is required 60 days prior to arrival. The staff were amazing across the board. They went above and beyond in every possible way. The room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely setting, peaceful, everything you need for a week of relaxation and decadence.

Can't swim laps in the pool and sea urchins in the sea water so not a very active time while at the resort. Need softer pillows.

"Fantastic resort"

Everything! The staff #1, the food, the room… perfect. Travelled off-season, so the prices were really good.

There was low water pressure in the room, but frankly it didn’t bother that much.

"Oog voor service waardoor vakantie meer waard werd"

+ er is echt oog voor service. Wat voorbeelden: als wij naar onze tafel in het restaurant gingen dan kwam iemand al met een kinderstoel. Bij het zwembad kwam iemand regelmatig vragen of je wat wilde drinken. Ook waren alle medewerkers heel lief voor de kinderen. Een klein dolletje zat er vaak wel in. De medewerkers wachten niet op fooi. Je zal ze eerder terug moeten roepen om ze wat te geven. + kleinschalig waardoor je mensen snel leert kennen. Niet alleen medewerkers van het resort, maar ook de andere gasten. + ze helpen je met wat je maar vraagt. Ze proberen het voor je op te lossen. Een aantal medewerkers kunnen ook wat Nederlands spreken! + elke dag is er wel iets van entertainment. Wel even melden bij receptie dat je interesse hebt voor een van de activiteiten. Als het geld kost dan vermelden ze dat heel duidelijk. + hier is wel nagedacht over een backup plan als de stroom is uitgevallen. In de kamer gaat dan ook de noodverlichting aan.

Dit gaat dan echt om kleine dingen: - in het restaurant worden kaartjes gezet met allergenen, maar het zijn niet alle allergenen. Maar vraag het even aan de chef als je iets niet zeker weet. - wifi is niet snel. - in de omgeving zijn er niet echt supermarkten, maar kleine winkeltjes. Je kan daar niet altijd alles vinden, waardoor je in het winkeltje van het resort terecht moet.
