Newly refurbished 1 bed flat 7 mins from Luton airport

Nothing we didn't stay had to leave

Outside the front door was an old sofa and overflowing bins. The entrance way and hallway hadn't been vacuumed for years, filthy. The hallway smelt of weed. The apartment walls needed decorating and bed sheets had stains on them. We couldn't stay and had to book a hotel elsewhere.

Neighbours upstairs were very loud.

The location is good, lots of shops around. The flat is small, and sorry I have to say that the fridge was the only clean item in the property. The owner sounds lovely, but he really needs to do something about cleaning the flat.

The flat needs a deep cleaning. The floors, walls, kitchen cupboards are very dirty and smelly. The TV didn't work. There is no light on the main staircase. I didn't receive an email with the details how to enter in the flat. The bedding didn't look washed, there was long hair on the bed. There is no garden view as stated in the ad.

Teníamos una escala corta en el aeropuerto de luton y reservamos por el precio. Después de ir, me parece muy caro.

Todo. Desde que cruzas el portal (que por cierto nos lo encontramos abierto) vas a oscuras hasta que llegas a la mitad del piso, pues la luz de la estancia principal al abrir la puerta no funciona. Todo estaba muy sucio (portal, pasillos, baño, ropa de cama sucia y quemada...) y teníamos una toalla de dudosa higiene para 4 personas. Además el sofá cama no abría bien y era muy incómodo porque se hundía en el medio. Nos encontramos varias sorpresas como una cuchilla usada en la ducha o un chicle pegado en el cabecero de la cama. Un despropósito, no lo recomiendo ni para estar 10 minutos.

The booking was cancelled unilaterally by the owner few hours before our arrival... Booking.com didn't help us. The rebooking hasn't been sorted out.
