Sandringham Hotel - Seafront, Sandown, Isle of Wight - FREE Return Car Ferry Ticket for 3 nights or more

The property is located on the beachfront, right next to the cafes and shops. Clean and wide rooms, bathroom was large and looked renovated. Excellent value for money, especially with the free ferry booking.

Some of the staff could be a little more helpful as opposed to being dismissive

Dated hotel in run down area with a lot of closed businesses and hotels standing empty, one being burnt out. Very out dated decor, very few guests in a huge hotel. Systems were out of the 80’s

No privacy between balconies

Location great right on beach staff very friendly and helpful. Bonus of free ferry great, beds comfy. swimming pool and whirl pool really nice.

Breakfast was poor no buffet as is norm in most hotels now. Cooked breakfast not cooked properly and small portions, lots of stairs even after using lift not good for people with mobility issues.

Lovely location, beautiful view. Hotel was really nice, very friendly staff members. Our room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Bar was working in evening, had a nice cocktails. Good size swimming pool and towels provided.

Only thing was, our room didn't had Air conditioner and in hot summer day it was very hot in our room and hard to sleep. Next day was cooler outside and our room was cooler too. Car park was a bit tricky to find even with a little map provided.

The layout of the hotel was awful. To get to the lift to the third floor you had to go up two flights of steps first having to carry a heavy suitcase. The decor is old fashioned and tired, and was incredibly hot and uncomfortable during the summer. The rooms also smelt musty.
