Designer Beachfront Apartment in Big Bay with swimming pool- 2 bedroom, 1 Azure

Everything besides the fact that Ubers take time to respond to us maybe because of the location , but none the less we made a few trips using Uber .

We love our stay there, the flat was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated with a large terrasse and an easy access to the beach (couple of minutes walk with young children). We will definitely be back next time!

A few cockroaches in the apartment

Well equipped, very clean, close to shopping centres, 30 minutes to CT centre. Azure is a beautiful apartment complex. We had a medical emergency so it helped that Netcare Hospital was a 10 minute drive too.

It says “Beachfront Apartment” so it was disappointing to discover that it’s not on the beach front. It was primarily what I wanted so the name is misleading. To get to the beach is a 5-7 minute walk through a shopping centre parking lot. Beach views are partial and distant from the apartment.

I didn't like how they were not checking on us. There were duty blankets and I requested them to give me clean blankets and they didnt give me for the whole stay. There were cockroaches all over the kitchen and bathroom.

Location

Cleaning is not included and it is not explicit during booking. If you want cleaning you have to pay 550 zar per cleaning. The house does not have appropriate cleaning equipament, for example the Mop dees not come with squeezing backet, so you have to squeeze with your hands. there are no brushes and clothes to clean the balthroom. If you want to change linen you have cost too. of course you can wash by your self using the washing machine, but there are not replacement during the washing, in case they do not dry or you need to get a nap during the wasing time, there is no way.

Liked that the house matched the photos and host was responsive. Environment is clean and quiet.

No cleaning supplies like a basic toilet brush for the washroom.
