The apartment was basic but clean. The letting agent kept in good contact and was very helpful and attentive.

The bed was most uncomfortable, my daughter slept on the floor. The blinds were not long enough for thr windows so headlights from a busy road shone into our room all night. There was hardly any cutlery or crockery and no bottle opener for us to open our wine. We felt particularly vulnerable in the area, lots of undesirables hanging around doing drugs in the street.

Modern furniture

Mislead information, it doesn’t come with breakfast. The host physically and verbally assaulted me after I accidentally woke up past check out time. Unclean dust everywhere, smears on all furniture, stains on carpet, host very rude, hot water didn’t work. Had no right to start shouting at me for waking up late after I apologised multiple times and didn’t have the money to pay for the extra time we spent. Fridge filthy still had food in it from the last people that stayed there.

A good price for our needs at the time. A handy location, taxi into city centre under £5. Great views from 14th floor (lifts available) Great communications on arrival.

No breakfast included, although tea provided. Not enough towels for number of guests. Problems with hot water from shower (5 in party, hot water for 4) 1 of the beds very creaky.

Heating/water not switched on - no instructions - we worked it out ourselves No air on - it is an air recirculating system Kitchen - VERY basic (eg no tin opener/bottle opener/cafetiere/no tea towel) No breakfast as advertised - x3 coffee sachets and some tea bags and uht milk does not constitute a breakfast Described penthouse roof terrace is a communal terrace on level 1 not level 14 with the flat! Parking is not £4 per days as stated- it is on street and significantly more expensive An iron - but no ironing board! Blinds do not cover the whole of the windows in the bedrooms

The location was great & parking nearby was cheap. The flat was spacious and plenty big enough for the the three of us. I loved having a corner sofa to sit on & enjoy looking at the view.

There was no hot water so we had to have cold showers. It was too late to contact the host as we got back to the apartment well after midnight on Friday. I asked for a partial refund but the host read my message and ignored it.

The apartment had a spacious living area & shower was powerful & 1 of the beds was very comfortable. The apartment looked & smelt clean when we arrived.

On booking.com website, we were led to believe we had penthouse with terrace, which was not true apartment on 14th floor . We booked 3 nights & 3 6. O website say free breakfast ! We had few milk pods & a few tea bags, no coffee. We had no hot water the 1st night or Sunday morning. The boiler was not on for hot water & no instructions on how it worked. We did get it working, but the water didn't stay hot for long. We had very limited utensils & and glasses & only had 2 towels, for 3 of us, so i called the company on Sat afternoon who came over & he didn't know how boiler worked &he brought another towel & some fresh milk with 2 dash date on & few like breakfast bits & very cheap coffee. The 2nd bed was so uncomfortable the springs coming through mattress & there was no mattress or pillow protectors on either bed. Parking wasn't great very limited outside the apartment. cost on the website said £4 per day but was £1.75 per hour 8 to 8.30. The chap did offer us our money back over our phone call, but trying to find alternative accommodation on Saturday in sheffield Centre is not happening. The apartment wasn't cleaned every day as was said on the website as this was part of the fee pricing & only had 1 toilet roll. I had to ask for more when chap came to the apartment. I feel this apartment information on the website needs to be looked at, as I feel I was missed sold what i was expecting & I use booking.com 3 or 4 times a year & I have never complained.
