The Salty Monk Bed & Breakfast

The room was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. We like the plantation shutters that shielded us from the recent intense heat. Their concept of pre-ordering breakfast resulted in an excellent breakfast service. Finally, being able to use their electric car charger saved time.

The staff were very friendly, attentive and very helpful. Room was lovely. Great location.

Bathroom door in Heather Suite sticks. Needs taking off and planing. There were curtains and blinds in the room but they were not sufficient to block out the sun. Blackout blinds needed. Limited vegetarian options at breakfast

Fab location and so cosy and great food

Everything! Good location right near the main road with ample parking. The room was nicely decorated with modern furnishings and the attention to detail by the hosts was fantastic. There was nothing that hadn’t been thought of or addressed. We had a wonderful breakfast served hot and on time and left feeling that we had been looked after and received good value for money. Thank you!

Strange bathroom arrangement

The evening meal at the restaurant was exceptionally satisfying..

The en-suite bathroom was notably compact, and the shower exhibited a persistent drip throughout a significant portion of the night.

Annette & Andy made us so welcome, little did we know until we arrived that Andy was a professional chef & trained under the very best, the breakfast was exceptional and served to your table, homemade bread, Jams, fresh coffee, and a full English, also plenty of healthier options.We loved our suite [ Heather Room] Bed and bedding was blissful had a great nights sleep. Tiggy our little dog had her own private terrace garden! Plenty of parking, and a lovely dog walk close by to the beach, pretty garden and terrace. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom which was an added bonus.

The fact that we had to go home, would've liked a few more nights there

The hosts are exceptional and so attentive always checking if you needed anything. The rooms are modern and equipped with everything you will need
