Large 5 Bedroom House - Alnwick

Great location. Easy to walk to town, buy food, visit pubs etc. Lovely fenced in garden. Good garden patio with chairs and a table. Garden is a suntrap. Easy to drive to other locations we wanted to visit while in the area. Good size living room and conservatory. Would work especially well for a family with children.

We were a party of 8 adults. We cooked in every evening. The kitchen needs a few more pots, pans, good sharp cooking knives and more than just 8 knives, forks and spoons. Good size kitchen table but seating not that comfortable for long periods of time. Bedrooms snug. Very tall people, avoid the top 2 rooms.

We have stayed in quite a few rental properties but this has to be one of the best! Superbly decorated throughout, the owners obviously have great taste in design and living spaces, we particularly liked the fireplace and art work in the sitting room. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay and the location is excellent for walking in Alnwick or driving further afield. The beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable, encouraging a much needed lie in. There is a great outdoor space, perfect for letting children/dogs run around in.

Small stuff suggested- supply a few more toilet rolls & iron bed linen to meet description expectations. Room to move around on top floor double bedrooms is very limited.

Great location and good sized property for our group of 4 adults and 5 children. Attic rooms definitely more suited for the kids based on headroom, but they loved having some space to themselves. Short walk into the town and Alnwick gardens so great base for the holiday. Would definitely book again if in the area.

Great house for friends reunion, had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. The large garden was a big bonus. Fantastic location, we could walk into the town and the beaches were only 10 mins away by car. Would highly recommend. We’ll be back.
