Large 5 Bedroom House - Alnwick

Very clean, beautifully decorated. Outdoor area was great and the downstairs space really flows well. Kitchen is lovely.

The fire doors, understand they are required but quite annoying. The top of the house bedrooms, we had to bend down to move around and get into bed as the eaves are so low although we are quite tall. Better suited to children. Toilet lid in the top floor bathroom wouldn’t stay up.

We all loved the property it had everything we needed to make our trip successful. We really enjoyed the lovely spacious garden and we were so lucky with the weather.

The location was convenient and the house was adequately equipped. The garden was good for the dog.

The house was cold and difficult to get warm. Some things had not been properly cleaned.

The house was beautiful, everything you could need was provided and the house was spotless. The location was perfect . I could not recommend it highly enough.

Nothing all top notch

Well appointed and stylish house for three generations to spend a few days together over Christmas. We had a great time.

The lighting in the house was poor. (Too dark)

The house is very well located on a quiet residential street within east walking distance to Alnwick high street (around 15 mins gentle walk). It’s stylishly decorated with lovely outdoor space if you’re lucky enough to get the weather. It is well stocked with all the amenities you could need and the host was very responsive for anything we needed leading up to and during our stay. The description provided is pretty spot on. The second floor bedrooms are a little cosy with low sloping ceilings but the beds are super comfortable. We found it a great spot for our family (of 9) to explore the Northumbrian coast.

As a family of 8 adults plus one child we found the kitchen and dining area a little tricky to use when we were all in there. We also found some of the downstairs areas a little dark. Having said that the house suited our needs as a base to explore the local area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
