V&A Waterfront Marina Family Apartment 201 Altmore Cape Town

Position was great. Check in easily managed. Secure and safe with good cooking facilities and restaurants galore at Waterfront about 800m pleasant walk.

Needs hand soap at sinks.

Great attentive host. Central location. Secure safe complex. Spacious, parking with easy access to the flat, all on the same level

Like has been said before, the apartment is tired looking. Needs painting and damaged , broken things fixed, and upgraded. Would be good to have a guide/explanation how to use TV remote, washing machine settings etc. Cleaning of washing machine/dryer filters, and behind beds and tables could be more thorough. It’s right at the edge of the waterfront on a busy road with a building being built next to it. I was woken at 7.30am with construction next door. And the road is noisy. Only small round soap provided. No other toiletries or milk. Soundproofing not good, can hear people in The corridor outside waiting for the lift and talking and walking on the walkway outside the flat.

The apartment is clean and spacious.

This is a really nicely equipped unit in right in the heart of the V&A Waterfront precinct. You’re about a minute’s walk from the Cape Grace hotel, and another few minutes from the major attractions of the area (Roben Island ferry, restaurants etc). The unit is along the canal with a water frontage and is part of a very secure estate. The unit is well equipped as I’ve said. Pretty much everything you need if you decide to self-cater. All up, a great experience and a beautiful unit in a superb setting. I’d definitely go back there. And it’s cheap. Frankly, they could charge more for this quality.

There isn’t much to dislike. If I had one minor gripe it was that the water pressure wasn’t great in the bathroom.
