V&A Waterfront Marina Family Apartment 201 Altmore Cape Town

The location, the size of the apartment and how complete it was. The apartments complex is beautiful, with pools in front of the canal and very safe. We loved and definetly would go back to stay there.

Construction across the road was very noisy

Excellent location for safe walking to the Waterfront, restaurants and supermarket. Highly recommended and will absolutely stay here again. Lara was prompt with communicating and our stay could not have been easier thanks to her flexibility!

Unable to use dinning table ( very unstable ) Sofas very uncomfortable....maybe time for an update.

The kitchen had mold on boards. A beam on the kitchen floor was dilodged and dangerous. Bedside lights weren’t connected and couldn’t be used. This is all described in old reviews, this means the owner doesn’t care at all. The location was supposed to be in Marina, which is, but it is the first one, directly on the roundabout with a lot of traffic. There are two building sites operating full time with a lot of noise. This has been going on for a long time as described in other reviews. No soap, no shampoo at all

Good to be within the V&A Waterfront, albeit right on the very end. Easy and safe to walk to the Waterfront facilities (eg market, shops, eateries) The apartment was spacious and well laid out; it was nice to have two en suite bathrooms

Location: it is right on the end of the Waterfront development with noisy road and building works next door. Facilities: we weren't able to use the safe since previous guests had left it locked; there we two bedside lamps but nowhere to plug them in (!); there were only 2 glasses (in an apartment for 4), no bathmats, no hand soap. Cleanliness: the dishwasher had lots of bits of food in it; here were holes (from wear) in the bath towels and one of the duvet covers; the carpet in the bedroom was filthy; the overall decor and fixtures and fittings were very tired. Host: We had a two night stay and arrived at c4pm on the first day. I contacted the host to tell her about the locked safe and holes in the bath towels. She was very polite and apologetic and said she could get someone to come around the following day to unlock the safe and to replace the towels. Given that we would have already had to use the towels and also that we were out early the next day so wouldn't be able to make use of the safe once unlocked I said it wouldn't be worth it.
