Front desk were very extremely kind.

Room was filthy. The toilet had splattered bm in it and urine on the toilet seat. I ended up cleaning the toilet myself. I asked the housekeeper if I could use her toilet scrubber and she very kindly offered me her cleaner. As someone who has worked in housekeeping, if a guest asks to use something off my cart I would have offered to clean it. Not offer supplies to the guest. The room was dusty, dark and musty. The only reason I stayed there was because it was what I thought to be cheaper and I was in town because my granddaughter was in the nicu at Portneuf medical center. I could have saved my self a lot of trouble had I know that La Quinta gives discounts to family members that have a loved one in the hospital. Which where i ended up for my last night in Pocatello.

We checked in after midnight. When we got to the room, we discovered that there was no refrigerator, which we really needed to keep our food cold. The baseboard was broken and sticking out, creating a risk of injury. There was only enough shampoo, soap, and towels for one person, even though there were two of us. We decided not to request a different room because it was already very late and we just wanted to get some sleep. Unfortunately, we could hear water running through the pipes all night right next to the bed, which made it difficult to sleep. There were also very few conveniently located electrical outlets. We’ve stayed at other Motel 6 locations for a similar price and had a much better experience.

It was cheap, no bedbugs. The staff were friendly and helpful, I didn't feel unsafe being there.

The room smelled like dirty feet, the carpet was gross and there were only two towels when we were sharing the room with three people.
