Barton Gate Farm B&B

The owner was lovely and very helpful. The cooked breakfast was amazing and well worth the cost. The property was ideally situated for where we wanted to visit.

The host was amazing. She checked in on us every morning, making sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were lovely and the beds were amazing, so comfy. Everyday we came back to a tidy room :). Great choices of breakfast included. We even added a night to our trip with no issues :). We will defo book here again.

Location was good

They charged us for pet and didn't say before. No breakfast. Just offer cornflakes and milk, which was disgusting. Loaf of bread containing too much mould, which was disgusting and very dangerous for families because of children.

Nothing

It was very bad and terrible. At first, when we arrived, it said that you have a dog and you have to pay extra, but it was not written on the website. The rooms did not have good air conditioning at all. In the morning, when we went for breakfast, we saw moldy bread and some cornflakes that were from thousands of years ago, and a butter and jam were the whole breakfast, which was terrible and dirty and its expiration date was many years ago. When we asked for coffee, they said that you have to pay extra. You have to pay extra for even speaking a word and breathing. It was the worst experience of the trip.

It was close to our venue and owner was friendly and nice

Nice outdoor seating area with a pond. Games room that included pool, table tennis and table football though there was no lights in the room for later on.

A number of spiders and dust collection in the room. The shower was not a full shower, just a low shower head over the bath. Advertised full hot breakfast included but when we got there it was continental unless you paid extra for a hot breakfast. Toilet smelled really bad after usage like the waste hadn't gone anywhere which is not ideal.
