Spectacular View atop Napier Hill - Space for all!

Amazing view, and an amazing loo! Great house for sharing with friends (two couples), plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen and outdoor grill for preparing meals. Very unique, cool house -- wish we had been able to stay longer!

Narrow, steep driveway to the property was a bit treacherous, but there was plenty of warning and instruction about this given prior to our arrival. And once there, it was a short walk to/from the city centre. Also, the entrance to the drive was hard to see from the main road; some additional information about where the drive is located would have been helpful.

The location was great and the view was indeed spectacular. The house is spacious and the outdoor space was wonderful. It is a short walk down a very steep hill to lots of restaurants and shops. The walk back up is very challenging.

The driveway is very steep and narrow and a challenge to fit through with an SUV.

Exceptional views from every window in this very comfortable, well presented house. We were so surprised by the quality of the house. It was an absolute treat to fall asleep to the sound of waves.

The driveway was difficult and a bit scary in parts.

The views from the house are absolutely stunning! 😍 We loved everything about the house. Make sure to bring your laptop or casting devices so you can let the kids enjoy there favorite shows on the TV whilst you and your partner are enjoying a cold one in the bath overlooking the city and beach. Be aware that the roads leading up the hill are quite narrow, and the driveway is extremely narrow as well. It can be quite dangerous if you're not a confident driver.

I've noticed a couple of minor issues I'd like to bring to your attention. The driveway is rather narrow, which can make it difficult to maneuver and park vehicles, especially for visitors who may not be familiar with the space. Also, the dryer doesn't seem to be spinning clothes to dry them; it's only heating them up so just hang them out on the line provided below deck. Apart from these minor issues I'm happy with everything else."

Great spot overlooking Napier and the entire bay. Host responded to a call immediately, in a pleasant and helpful way. A wonderful place.

Location was great, within walking distance or short drive to restaurants. View from the patio overlooking the shore, especially during sunset was excellent. Place was well equipped and felt like home.

The drive down or up the driveway to the house was very narrow so need to be careful not to scrape the side of the car. Dryer wasn't working and we have notified the host.

Difficulty getting the tv to operate, no instructions at the ready, luckily the weather was brilliant and we did not require it.

Wow, what a place, stunning views, well furnished, comfy beds, all the things we needed in the kitchen, having dinner on the deck overlooking the town. The view from the loo.would love to go back and sad to leave

The access road was steep and narrow for our suv but became a pro at navigating and the hill is a doozy to walk up but worth it. Laundry down some steep steps. If you have a toddler you will need to keep a very close eye on them but our teens were fine. Tv in living room only works with streaming service but kitchen one has freeview. We used living room as a quiet room and kids went in kitchen.

unfortunately the dryer did not work which was very inconvenient given we were there for a sporting event. Also wifi was terrible. access was pretty scary with a very narrow entry point which was very narrow if in a large vehicle. another small issue only 2 tee towels!
