"Lovely House and Landlady"

Lovely house, decorated to a great standard without looking like a show home. Comfortable beds, excellent appliances. The landlady was very nice when messaging. Good range of coffee and tea, and had provided dishwasher/washing machine capsules. Provided fire sticks enabled easy entertainment without having to set up our own stuff.

My only (minor) complaint is that it would be better if the house could be warmed before arrival. It was freezing when we arrived and took about 2 hours to warm up, although I do appreciate that it's to save on wasted energy.

"A wonderful stay in a wonderful house."

Every aspect of the property was perfect. Any necessary instructions (heating etc) were very clear and explicit. The owners made it clear to us that they were readily available should we have any queries. My partner and I had a totally stress-free wonderful time.

"Great if you're not an EV user"

Location was very close to Leeds, giving great access by car. The house itself was well presented, clean and tidy throughout. I'd highly recommend this as a stay for non-EV travellers.

I didn't like the fact that the EV rules were changed after we had already arrived on location. This misrepresented the property facilities, and contravened trading standards around what was actually available. It was originally advertised when we booked as having EV charging, but it actually just had an outdoor 3 pin plug. Secondly, 2 hours after our arrival, and 4-5 hours after our official checking in time the owner got in touch to say she was now charging for the electric. We don't mind paying but be upfront about it in the first place so we can budget for it. This is why I wouldn't recommend this place for EV users.
