In the heart of the new forest

Location was good as close to The New Forest / Paultons Park

The carpet had not been hoovered - I had to hoover myself due to the amount of hair & dog hair on the carpet. The towels in the spare room were damp - unsure if this is due to not being changed from a previous guest! The tea towel in the kitchen was also dirty. Also very disappointed with the response to reviews on here.. no tea or shower gel as mentioned and the carpet certainly isn’t cleaned in between stays. We understand it isn’t a 5* star luxury stay for the price we paid but we would expect the property to be clean.

Great location. Good facilities. A few small issues that Vanessa immediately attempted to resolve.

Property would benefit from a little maintenance , curtains, window locks and carpet cleaning. I do appreciate that our stay was towards the end of the season .

The location was great

As discussed with the owner we found the lack of cleanliness and limited attention to detail disappointing. The bed and couch were uncomfortable. There was no washing machine as advertised. A laundry service was offered but our clothes were returned wet and items covered in fluff. Our concerns had all been raised in previous reviews

Uncomfortable double bed and some basic items like tea bags/coffee would be nice plus some basic items like shower wash etc

Minor issue but no scissors or veg peeler available.

Beds comfortable.

Quicker response to my query about keys or info in advance about key box. Only 3 towels provided for 4 of us.

Great location, very clean, comfy, easy to access etc.

No toilet roll! (But from a message looks like this was a rare oversight !)
