2 BR Royal Mile Apartment

The apartment is cozy, spacious and rich in furniture. It was perfect for our three day stay. The location is super, the hosts were super communicative. I strongly recommend this apartment!

The inside looks a little bit older than expected in the photos but it doesn't affect the quality of the stay.

Separate bath and shower. It is hard for me to climb into a bath for a shower

The location was good, particularly for access to the Royal Mile

I am afraid the property needs a considerable amount of work to bring it into the 21st century. The kitchen was very poor and contained some antique equipment and strange extensions leads for power that must be against regulations for a rental property. The general state of decoration was more 1980’s than anything and the doors/skirting were dirty and very damaged. I don’t expect to shower/bathe in a room with cracked wall tiles these days for this sort of cost. The door keys were beyond serviceable use and difficult to obtain access to the property as well. The owners have a very “slick” booking and access system, why not invest some more it the property as a whole to make it right, I say.

I really like location and the space inside.

I could not fault anything because we have had good night sleep there.

The property was an ideal location for- steps from the Royal Mile, but also very quiet. The communication with the owners was terrific and there was much-appreciated flexibility with our check-in time. We also appreciated a fully outfitted kitchen, as we preferred to do some of our own cooking.

No complaints.
