The house was clean, tastefully decorated, and there was a lovely welcoming package when we arrived. The information in the cottage was up-to-date and the kitchen furnished with the basic necessities. The rooms in the home were comfortable to live in for several days, and the beds especially restful. Parking is very convenient. The property is perfectly situated for exploring the area. The shops are a short car drive away. The hosts were friendly and very helpful when we contacted them.

Excellent location. Lovely decor. Parking no problem. Everything you might need was provided -even a few essentials in the kitchen. Fantastic place to stay. Will definitely look at staying again but next time longer than 1 night!

"The cottage was ideal for our stay to visit relatives in Stockton and Darlington."

It was in a charming location overlooking a village green and close to a country pub serving good quality meals. The cottage had been carefully restored with modern amenities whilst still retaining the heritage character.

It was a shame that there was nowhere on the back yard to dry washing.

Beautifully proportioned cottage kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Fabulous view across to the pub. The shower was probably my favourite feature.

Great location, the local pub was very popular and plenty to do nearby. Kitchen was well equipped and there was milk and eggs on arrival along with tea , coffee etc.

A few more plug sockets in bedroom would help, socket near a mirror for instance. Directions to nearest shop in the guide would be useful
