The Crow's Nest

The room is very clean with all the essentials you need and want. Matthew is a great host, breakfast was catered to our desired times each morning. The back garden is a lovely sun trap & evening chill. The location is amazing 5 minutes from everything. I spent most days surfing and walked from the accomodation to the bays. Would highly recommend The Crows Nest!

We had a very good stay at The Crow’s Nest. We (a mother and a son) felt we were very welcomed. Matthew the owner of the hotel was friendly person and had a great hospitality and looked after us very well. At the room, we were provided a bottle of beer (for me) a bottle of coke (for my son - was asked by email in advance what is his favorite soft drinks ) , bottle of water, fruits, chocolates, very wide selection of hot drinks, and a bath set (shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and body cream) and a nice sponge. Big TV with Netflix which we could enjoy the night time. Personalised mags were nice. Bed was comfortable and towels are nice and soft (scented nicely). He gave us frozen bottle of waters when we go out as it was hot, also could borrow hat, sun protection cream or other items could be handy at the beach too. There was a nice garden you can have breakfast there or relax in the evening and there were some game machines too. Also gave us travel advice or information too. It is highly recoomended!

Nothing really, if the internet signal was stronger to reach to the garden, would have been better. If there was a shop very close, would have been good ( but not that far)

The host was very attentive the bed was very big & it was only a short walk to town

Great location just a short walk from the seafront. Nice quiet location, bed is excellent and the host couldn't do more for you ! Nice bottle of Beer provided:-) as well as Chocolates, fruit, wide selection of tea / coffee, biscuits, toiletries and nice fluffy towels ! Unexpected added bonus of a little breakfast - with freshly cooked croissants, Jam, Tea, Coffee (with hot milk !!) and Juice. Great Host and great little place - we will be back again :-)

It was a twenty minute walk to the sea

Dirty, untidy, unkempt, cluttered, bad smell, rubbish everywhere, bin bags littered communal areas. Poor quality breakfast no choice other than a croissant

Matthew was incredibly hospitable, going out of his way to provide extra touches! The room was very comfortable and the whole place is very homely, and in a fab location - quiet but less than a 10min walk into Broadstairs. The prosecco and cake for my husband's birthday were lovely. We got to play on the arcade games which was fun. We also loved meeting Matthews cats, especially his gorgeous new kittens. We had a lovely relaxing stay at the Crows Nest.

Matthew is an amazing host. He went above and beyond for us. He was very kind and gave advice for dinner and even booked us a table in the nice restaurant we wanted to go to. Not to mention the personalised touch in the room. The arcades are great!

The location was great, just a short walk down to the beach. Matthew was a fantastic host. The bottle of prosecco and the birthday cake was a lovely touch. Breakfast in the garden was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed.

Matthew was a super host, communicated very well throughout and was super attentive during our stay- a very charming man The room was very decent and the beds were arranged how we'd asked. Some very nice personal touches and plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, toileteries provided. Breakfast was a delight, freshly baked croissants, with jams and cream and proper coffee !

Whilst our room was very decent indeed and the facilities very good, Matthew ( this is meant as positive feedback),I would definitely work on the curb appeal and presentation of the communal areas. This did not affect the enjoyable nature of our stay and would still highly recommend.
