The Crow's Nest

Just enjoyed a very relaxing 2 night stay at The Crow's Nest. Matt is an extremely kind and considerate host, he and his cat MegaTubs made us feel very welcome. We had glorious weather so enjoyed breakfast al fresco, of warm croissants and orange juice served whenever we were ready. The garden was a quiet haven where we also enjoyed drinks before going out for dinner and the fire pit after our meals. The room was spotless, the beds very comfortable, and we had use of a fan in the hot weather. My 18 year old son enjoyed the free arcade games and there is a mini cinema room for rainy days. Easy on street parking directly outside and 5 minute yomp or gentle 10 minute stroll into the centre of town and Viking Bay beach. Matt gave us frozen water bottles for our walks and there is all that is needed for a day at the beach for free use in the porch. Easy walking routes south to Ramsgate and north to Botany Bay past Stone Bay, Joss Bay & Kingsgate Bay, depending on tides either along the beaches and boardwalks around the headlands, or up on the cliffs on the coastal pathway where there are fabulous views. In Broadstairs we highly recommend 'Please Sir!' for delicious takeaway burgers, and Matt recommended Posillipo for authentic italian cuisine, which was superb, especially seated on the terrace overlooking the bay. All in all a wonderful stay! Thank you!
