Excellent value for money and very close to the beach and Blackpool Tower.

Very dated decor and no working TV in room.

The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. The shared bathroom was very clean and was close to my room so it wasn't a problem. There was a basin in the room with plenty of hot water. Radiator was always on. Wifi was very good. The price I paid was good value for a Saturday (though they seem to charge the same on weekdays, when it wouldn't be).

The window was jammed open and there was a very cold draught. They did warn me about this at check-in. The light kept flickering. There was no remote for the TV. And I was very surprised to find that since my last visit they have stopped supplying tea and coffee. There is a kettle and mug but you are expected to bring your own supplies. They insisted that this is made clear in the hotel details on this site, but it's not. And one of the confirmation emails they send out says "tea and coffee in all rooms". They really need to update their messaging.

No en suite I paid for.. No tea and coffee as advertised. Only single bed, not double.

The room was super cheap, for a reason I would later discover. The manager was very helpful getting my money back from booking.com. Although that was a task to organise late in the evening through a foreign call centre which took an hour on the phone, and left me without a room for the night.

The room (3) I was given had no bathroom as per my actual booking, the window mechanism was broken meaning the window was Wide open on a cold October night, which the staff did not tell me about when I checked in. After dancing in the ballroom all day, I returned to the hotel at 11pm to a freezing cold room. The staff on site were not at all helpful, saying there was nothing they could do, but after my continued protests they called the manager/owner who was helpful in cancelling the room and refunding my money. The room furniture was tired, but acceptable should the window have closed. The lightbulb in the room was super dull so I initially was using a phone light, until I discovered the window situation. Like most places in Blackpool it could be a nice place if the owner gives it a lot of money and TLC.

This property is not fit to be let out, on initial arrival the lobby has an overwhelming order of cat pee… multiple issues with the room including radiator not working, TV not working, only one cup in a triple room, cleanliness issues. Had it not been late when we arrived we would’ve thought alternative properties but we have no choice but to stay. After complaining to the management, we were promised a full refund which never arrived… Although they claim it’s a new acquisition so bear with them this property should not be let out until fit for purpose

Everything about this property Summer 4.5 tog duvet on and radiator not working so room was freezing as the window was open on arrival too.

Simple and slightly tired but warm and clean, dry, cosy and homely - a superbly well located dwelling in a quiet street close to Coral Island. Had a shower, nice and hot though obviously not a deluxe power shower, and a kind thoughtful landlady / duty manageress who simply could not do enough to be welcoming and helpful to us. Had a lovely time here and slept well and comfortably in the room. No lift in this property but helpful staff if you need a hand. We were happy here, took in a great show at the Winter Gardens then had a day on the beach - with a cosy room to go back to.

No complaints, bang for buck was great
