Great view from the Balkony.The room was clean and fresh made. The cook guy was a really so much friendly and nice and prepared for us a nice breakfast. A quiet place,we slept there so good.

The way to the hotel is terrible.Our driver has almost damaged his car.The road to the hotel is killed and needs some renovations (or the hotel should inform his guests about that). The manager speaks English not at all and there was a problems with communication. Each time when we asked about something he said just yes yes yes without understanding. The menu card looks huge with a lot of choose but in a real they had just rice and chicken (and the portion was so small). The rest of the days we have eaten in a town. The manager closing the main door in the evening and when you coming back in the evening to the hotel you should hope that he will open it (but we wrote him in WhatsApp and there was no answer at 10pm).So we must go around the hotel to find other way to jump to room. It makes no sense to do that! The rooms looks nice but it’s just first feeling.The TV was not working, the bath is not practical to use because the hot water running just 5 minutes and then you have to wait 30 mins again to continue to fill up your bath. The sockets was not working and jumped out from the wall. The light switches are made so unlogically and you have to look all the time where is a switcher and for what is it. The mini bar was broken and it was full of water inside.

Jättefin utsikt och god mat och frukost. Vi anlände sent på kvällen, de tog emot oss och kunde erbjuda mat, det underlättade eftersom det ligger lite utanför Ella City. Hotellet var rymligt och väldigt fint och modernt. Vi bodde tre vuxna i ett rum och det gick jättebra. Tack personalen 🌴😊

The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. The staff were extremely hospitable and always took great care of us and were very attentive throughout our stay. Achintha looked after us so well and was always on hand whenever we needed anything. The road to the accommodation is a little bumpy, but the views more than make it worth it. Exceptional Stay in Ella – Highly Recommended Royo Rock Ella is a true hidden gem. The mountain views are breathtaking, the rooms are spotless, modern, and very comfortable, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. What really stands out is the warm and genuine hospitality — the hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Perfect location close to Ella town, yet quiet and relaxing. Amazing value for money. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Everything is perfect. It was also nice to see the hotel expanding and growing. Wishing the team all the best and a smooth, speedy completion of the new developments. If the expansion matches the current quality and hospitality, this place is going to be something truly special. El trato fue muy bueno. Nos facilitaron el traslado al centro y nos hicieron varias recomendaciones. Achintha muy amable. Si buscas aislarte y estar alejado de la ciudad y el bullicio es muy recomendable.

El alojamiento está a unos 9 km del centro. El camino está bastante mal y aunque lo facilitan mucho llendote a buscar en tuktuk te limita la estancia si buscas hacer actividades y pasear por la ciudad.

Staff were so attentive to really treating us as valued guests- the service was outstanding and we had onsite chef catering a delicious breakfast, freshly brewed coffee and tea and you have option of catered dinner which was delicious. The view of our vila was spectacular overlooking mountains with our own space. We could see view from our beds or own patio where we were served breakfast. Our room was spacious. Highly recommend staying here!

Don’t be deterred by rocky trail to get to Villa as team take good care of you to send tuk tuk for transfer. It’s so worth it if you are looking for a serene getaway with personable service!!

NOTHING The staff were trying their best but the place was awful to say the least

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever booked on this platform. I don’t understand how is this place allowed on Booking.com in the first place. The road was blocked and we were sent a tuk tuk that took half an hour to reach the place. The ride is off the cliff on an unpaved road and we arrived at night which made the ride very scary and uncomfortable. Upon our arrival, we realize that we’re the only people staying there as they only had that room (the other one was under construction), just us two girls and the staff in the middle of the mountain. There was zero privacy as the room is next to the entrance and the kitchen. I couldn’t believe we paid 130usd for that place honestly, it’s a big scam and I hope people read my review and refrain from booking so that they don’t go through what we went through.

De weg is zeer slecht om er te komen. 10 min over een steen/gravelroad. Er is wel een tuktuk service vanuit de accommodatie.

Beautiful view and really nice staff! Vinoj was super friendly, helpful, and kind. Nadhun cooked the best food/breakfast absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our stay!
