A real taste of paradise...................... Recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royo Rock Ella Hotel, You are truly ontop of the world. The view is breathtaking, really magical. Make sure you get up at sunrise to see the stunning skies, hear the birds and the chanting too. The room was superb, way better than we expected actually and was huge. We had dinner in our room one night too which was a real treat. The Bathtub is great and a really lovely backdrop. The dinner was great and the breakfast was too. Special mention to the hotels Tuk Tuk driver who is on hand for trips into Ella and suggested a great place to stop for the best views of the 9 arch bridge.We felt really spoilt. The staff were really warm and welcoming. Thanks for a lovely stay..

The view was unmatched, from both the balcony and the bathroom. Staff were both welcoming and accommodating to all needs, all meals can be provided with a personal bar and chef. An exceptional experience for a couple.

They have a bath with a beautiful view but filling it with comfortably hot water takes a little patience with the heater. Possibly something they will have fixed after our stay.

Stunning views, very friendly staff wanting to cater to your every need (only 1 room currently at property), sometimes a communication language barrier but usually ok. Large spacious room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast in an amazing setting.

30mins travel to Ella centre, 15mins via very bumpy road. Only accessible really via hotels tuk tuks but they are ready for you whenever you need.

The views of this hotel were breathtaking! The staff were so lovely and helpful. The chef was incredible and cooked some of the most delicious food we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The bed was also very comfortable!

The road to get to the property is a rather bumpy but it’s fine if you take it slow. We saw plenty of Tuk tuks go past without any issues.

I love everything about this property, it situated in the heart of tea plantation. Room, bathroom, lobby everything is so big and beautiful. They have a in-house kitchen with chef, you can order anything anytime from their menu. We were there on new year so they prepared huge breakfast for us with many sweets. This property is a highly recommended. Special mention for their staff, Manoj, Chef Chamaro and others ensure every small big thing to make our short stay to their place memorable. Definitely going to stay their again on my next Sri lanka trip.

Bubble bath and candles available to use with the view from the bath would have been nice.
