The location could not be equaled, stunning views and absolute tranquility after all the visitors have left. Well equipped and very homely and all details covered in arrival communications and host very helpful. A great cafe too just across from the house entrance.

This cabin is in one of the most incredible locations you'll ever see. Right on the cliff of a dramatic, rugged island and atop the Seal Woman statue, it's an incredibly gorgeous spot. For being so remote, the cabin has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped (hard to tell from the photos but it has everything you need). The beds were not amazing by any stretch of the imagination but they were fine for a remote cabin.

Nothing against the cabin, but people booking it should know that there is really nothing to do on Kalsoy island other than the hike to Kallur lighthouse. All the land is private so you can't just go hiking around. There is nothing on the island other than steep mountains, sheep, farms, some houses, and one cafe that is only open in the summer. You need to bring everything with you on the ferry (book ferry in advance) and be prepared for spending a lot of time in the cabin. We spent two nights and I would not recommend more just because of the lack of things to do.
